BiH SuTra programme at Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week (SECW 2024)

BiH SuTra programme is present at the this years Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week (SECW 2024) where it will present the results of the programme and discuss efforts to tackle the climate crisis and foster a greener future.

The Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), with its BiH SuTra programme, will participate in two panels at SECW 2024 and host a side event titled: "BiH Sustainable Transition: World Café & Swedish Fika". In addition to showcasing the programme’s achievements, panels will offer valuable insights into strengthening collective efforts to tackle the climate crisis and foster a greener future.

Sustainable transition: Four local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are soon to get their transition plans

The second round of consultation meetings under the BiH SuTra programme was concluded successfully, bringing the four local communities closer to finalizing their transition plans.

Radio Banovići at the BiH SuTra consultation meeting in the municipality of Banovići

On the 19th of June, the second round of consultation meetings within the BiH SuTra programme continued in the municipality of Banovići. During the one-day consultation event, experts from the BiH SuTra programme presented draft goals for the year 2050, along with measures and activities within five development pathways. BiH SuTra Programme Manager Saša Solujić and Edita Lugavića from the municipality of Banovići explained the significance and aims of the consultation meetings for Radio Banovići.
