Vision for 2050

During the first stage of the project, every BiH SuTra project community holds inclusive workshops where participants can openly share perspectives and co-create a long-term vision for their communities.

The “Vision 2050” workshop in Gacko took place on 17 October 2025 and it brought together a diverse group of participants eager to shape a sustainable future for their municipality. Read more about the visioning event here.

Consultation meetings

The first consultation meeting took place on 30 March 2026 in Gacko, bringing together representatives from public, private, academic and non-governmental sectors to discuss sustainable development priorities for the municipality. During the consultation, experts presented measures, goals and timelines for each pathway: decarbonization, circular economy, pollution reduction, sustainable agriculture and nature and biodiversity protection. These pathways provide a foundation for planning actions in the short term (three years), medium term (until 2035) and long term (up to 2050).
