The Municipality of Kakanj is stepping forward as a partner in the BiH SuTra project, working toward a sustainable, climate-neutral future. The Vision 2050 Workshop is your chance to help shape this journey.

Why this workshop matters

The workshop will bring together local government representatives, citizens, businesses, academia, and civil society to answer the question:
Where do we want to be, and how do we want to live in 2050?

Participants will collaborate to generate locally owned ideas and solutions. Together, we will imagine a Kakanj that is environmentally responsible, socially inclusive, and economically resilient.

All workshop outcomes will be shared transparently through the Municipality’s official channels, so everyone can stay informed and engaged in building a greener, fairer, and more resilient Kakanj.

The vision marks the first step toward this goal, laying the groundwork for the Kakanj community to identify measures and actions that will form the basis of its Sustainable Transition Plan, set for completion in September 2026.
