The BiH SuTra project invites representatives of public institutions, civil society organizations, businesses, and other interested stakeholders to participate in consultation events dedicated to the development pathways of the Transition Plans. These pathways derive from the five pillars that form the regional strategy and policy framework Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.
The events aim to inform the public and gather feedback on the proposed pathways, which will then shape the Transition Plans for our new project partners: Municipality of Gacko, Municipality of Kakanj and City of Gradiška.
Our engaged experts have prepared draft objectives and aspirations for the year 2050 for the five development pathways, which are the following:
These drafts provide a well-founded basis for defining and further developing measures for the long-term period (until 2050), medium-term period (until 2035), and short-term implementation period (three years).
The consultation events will take place at the end of March and the beginning of April 2026, as follows:

During the events, participants are encouraged to join discussions related to the development pathways that are most relevant to their field of work or interest. Participants are also welcome to follow the entire event.
These consultations represent an important step in ensuring inclusive and well-informed decision-making processes that support sustainable local development.
The first drafts of measures and the next consultation meetings for the municipalities and the city are planned for May/June 2026.
